The Advanced Electric Ship Demonstrator "Sea Jet" waits to be christened at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division, Acoustic Research Detachment in Bayview, Idaho, on Aug. 23, 2005. The Office of Naval Research will christen the 133-foot vessel that will operate on Lake Pend Oreille, where it will be used for tests and demonstrations of various technologies.
